Choose your path.
"Remember us."
Not for titles. Not for perks. Not for noise.
But for the dent we made in the universe—quietly, precisely, relentlessly.
At Skcript, there is no glory without hard work.
Where others stop, we begin.
We build not for headlines, but for impact.
We obsess over the invisible details.
We ship when others sleep.
We turn impossibles into inevitables.
If you're here to be remembered—not by everyone, but by the right ones — then work at Skcript.
This is where legacy begins.
Working at Skcript is far from what a typical job is like. Skcript is where we invest in you to learn new skills, implement them in our products, and make them the best they can be. This requires a whole different mindset, that most don't have.
Before you apply for a job at Skcript, you should remember that we are a small team, passionate about building great software, very empathetic, and we push you to be the greatest. We are sorry if you are looking just for a job, which only pays you well, but use you only as a means of building something that's already been built.
Skcript is young, and we are all set for the next 10 years to build great software that outlasts most companies in the world. That's it, that's all we care about. We want Skcript to be a generational business, and this is what we base our decisions on. Right from bootstrapping to scaling to working with engineers globally.
Values Standards
Standards are repeatable and measurable actions we do repeatedly to ensure consistency and quality of our work at Skcript. If you get a chance to work at Skcript, these are the standards you will be signing up for.
For a deep-dive into many other standards at Skcript, go through Standards Handbook.
We simply believe in four standards:
Analyze the wave, don't ride it
So many technology waves (aka hype cycles) will come and go. All you have to do is just sit back, relax, and analyze the wave before you jump on it.
Build a MVP, explore the hype, but don't just bet long-term on it, unless you have a solid business case. If a new trend adds real value to our customers in the next 2 years, we will invest in it. Else, we enjoy seeing people enjoy the trend.
Programmers, not coders
You gotta be a programmer, not just a coder. Programmers think through problems, and rely on their skill to solve them. Coders follow standards, and instructions to get things done.
All programmers are coders. Not all coders are programmers.
We're not here to do what's been done. We're here to build what no one dares to.
Choose your battles
You should be good at choosing your battles. Not every battle is yours, and not every battle is worth fighting. Prioritize your efforts and focus on what matters most.
Saying "NO" is as important as saying "YES".
Empathy, not sympathy
Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. Sympathy is the feeling of pity or sorrow for someone else's misfortune. Empathy is a powerful tool for building strong relationships and resolving conflicts.
You gotta have a lot of empathy for yourself, your team, and our customers. Sympathy never comes close to empathy.
That's it. These are the standards we live by. This could evolve, iterate, and improve over the years, and you can be a part of it.

Team, not family
We believe in building a team of extraordinary colleagues, individuals who are not just skilled but also deeply passionate about our shared mission. This is why we embrace the principle of "Team, not family." It's not about diminishing the importance of strong relationships or a supportive work environment. Instead, it's about recognizing that the dynamics of a high-performing team are fundamentally different from those of a family. We strive to create a workplace where everyone is challenged to do their best work, where excellence is the standard, and where collective achievement is the ultimate reward.
In this team environment, we push each other to grow and develop, constantly raising the bar for what we can accomplish together. We value radical candor and honest feedback, knowing that it's essential for continuous improvement and achieving ambitious goals. Every member is expected to bring their A-game, contributing their unique talents and perspectives to the collective effort. This isn't about unconditional acceptance; it's about mutual respect and the understanding that we are all here to do exceptional work and make a significant impact.
Think of a championship sports team. They are a tightly knit group, deeply supportive of one another, but their primary focus is on winning. Each player has a specific role, and their performance is critical to the team's success. Similarly, at our organization, we are building a team of top performers who are driven by a shared desire to achieve greatness. We celebrate our successes together, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results. This "team, not family" approach allows us to foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and impactful contributions, ultimately leading to greater success for everyone involved.
