A few years ago, while scaling our team at Skcript, we ran into a serious hiring problem: candidates faking their skills, evaluations handled by non-technical teams, and an over-reliance on AI filters that missed what really mattered.

We knew we couldn’t build great products without great people. So instead of trusting broken systems, we started building our own internal solution. A hands-on, manual, deeply technical evaluation process—no shortcuts, no AI scoring, just real-world skill verification.

Over two years, we kept perfecting this system quietly, even as AI-generated profiles and fake credentials flooded the market. We learned how to spot them, how to mitigate the risks, and how to find people who could truly do the work.

That internal project is now Seek—a rigorous, manual-first hiring platform that helps companies hire right, not fast.
